When Amy McAllister and I got the vision to do a mission trip around the United States we thought it was a joke. There was no way we were going to travel again, raise support, and speak in front of people all over our country. But God had a different plan for our lives. He told us to stop making a joke about the vision he has placed over our lives and to step out in obedience.

Our tour around the U.S. started on September 27th where I spoke in front of my church in Columbus, Ohio. Just a year and a half before this trip I wouldn’t even get in front of our youth group to do announcements and here I was in front of the whole congregation speaking about the radical things the Lord had done in my life this year. Pastor Ross was such an encouragement and gave me the confidence to step forward in speaking. After the sermon many people came forward wanting prayer and wanting go deeper in the supernatural side of the Lord with his spirit. That was the moment the Lord showed me I could do this and that he was going to use my stories from the World Race to awaken and encourage people.

We spent the rest of the week in Ohio. Amy spoke in front of my college group and throughout the week we met one on one with friends to share and encourage and most importantly speak life over people. We also got to catch up with great friends, Mel Barber, and meet new friends, Mallorie Miller from the World Race when we took a day trip to Ashland, Ohio. We met for coffee and dinner and then got to go to a worship service and speak to students after. It was such a fun day.  Amy and I both function on relationships so we were being filled by the others around us.

With every great week it always must come to an end. I had to pack up my bags once again, this time a nice suitcase on wheels, and hit the road.  We were off to fill the great commission and the vision the Lord has given us.  Now we are currently traveling to a new city a week and sharing our hearts.

Highlights of our week in Ohio

1.    Getting to see Amy every day again

2.    Speaking in front of my church

3.    Getting to see Mel and Mallorie

4.    Speaking life and truth over Dan and Melissa

5.    Having our final meal with my family and Amanda

Please pray that the Holy Spirit speak through Amy and I and that our stories speak to the hearts of our generation.
